Dalí is not only well known as one of the best sketchers of the 20th century, but the best of all them. His inborn ease for stroke and proportions was surprising. Moreover he demonstrated it drawing in public whenever he could, in presentations, press-conferences, films...

But this facet is less known than his work as a painter, though many times his oil paintings were "sketches done with color". In this page we show a collection of splendid drawings and sketches with their titles and date of realization, trying to spread the more truthful Dalí, the sketcher.
