Dolmen from El Romeral, Antequera, Malaga.   It is a good instance for a Burial-Dolmen of corridor. Its main feauture is the use of a technique of approximation for cover or false dome for the two burial chambers inside. It is probably the most recent of the megalithic whole of Antequera. It was built ca. 1800 b.C.

Lintel door of the Dolmen   It is endowed with a corridor of a trapezoidal elevation with a mixed building -big flat stones-, that lead us to the circular plan first chamber, covered by a great stone that closes a "dome by approximation" like a "tholos". At its bottom there is an access to the second chamber. It is smaller, but has the same shape. In this second chamber lays a semi-detached stone, close to a wall where a part of the burial household was found.   Trapezoidal corridor Corridor from El Romeral Dolmen.
